I want to share with you a blog post on color palettes of master artists.

Art Varsity is the website, and they have taken 35 famous paintings and listed the dominant colors used by the artists. This is a cool idea and a great way to find out what color combinations inspire you.

My favorite palettes were two paintings by Henri Matisse. What are yours?

Beauty and inspiration are fundamental to the creative process. Dr. Wayne W. Dyer put it wonderfully when he wrote: Being creative means trusting your own purpose and having an attitude of unbending intent in your daily thoughts and activities. Staying creative means giving form to your personal intentions.

A friend and I took a nature walk this weekend at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. We went when it first opened -- no crowds, the air still and quiet except for nature's sounds.

I love taking short videos of different sounds I hear:

Nature is also a master colorist. All beautiful color combinations. All right in front of us.

Keep Creating!
